1、 Lithium primary batteries

(1) Lithium primary batteries with a capacity not exceeding (including) 10Ah

1. The safety performance should meet the requirements of GB8897.2-2005 "External Dimensions and Technical Requirements for Primary Batteries Part 2" and GB8897.4-2008 "Safety Requirements for Primary Batteries Part 4: Lithium ion Batteries"

2. Incorporate into the management of Class C controlled components. When the rated capacity is ≤ 2.5Ah, a non explosion certificate issued by the lithium primary battery manufacturer is required. When the rated capacity is ≤ 10Ah, a testing report issued by a national or ministerial level testing and inspection agency within 3 years is required

3. Lithium primary batteries with high safety performance should be selected, such as lithium manganese dioxide primary batteries. When the capacity of a single battery is greater than 5Ah, lithium sulfite chloride primary batteries should not be used

4. The technical manual and product user manual of equipment using primary batteries should indicate the manufacturer and specifications, or the battery type, rated voltage, and rated capacity

5. When sealing the primary battery with a pressure relief valve, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve

6. When the battery pack is powered, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent, and they should be products produced by the same manufacturer.

7. Lithium ion batteries used in intrinsically safe and sealed equipment should not only meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.1-2010, GB3836.4-2010, or GB3836.9-2006, but also:

A. The total energy should not exceed 100Wh

B. The battery should be placed in a separate battery compartment, and the sealing equipment does not require it

C. Equipped with single battery overvoltage protection, discharge overcurrent protection, output short circuit and anti charging protection functions

8. Lithium primary batteries used in explosion-proof electrical equipment should not only meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.1-2010 GB3836.2-2010, but also meet the following requirements:

A. The lithium primary battery in explosion-proof equipment should have an independent battery compartment, and the protective circuit should be placed outside the compartment. When the rated energy of the battery pack is greater than 200Wh, the battery compartment should be an independent explosion-proof chamber and able to withstand a 1.5MPa water pressure test

B. The battery management system should have the function of detecting parameters such as the voltage of individual batteries, the voltage and current of battery packs, etc

C. It should have protection functions for overvoltage, discharge current, and output short circuit of individual batteries and battery packs

(2) Lithium primary batteries with a capacity exceeding 10Ah

1. Incorporate safety sign management

2. It should comply with the Implementation Rules for the Review and Issuance of Safety Signs for Mining Products - Mining Lithium Batteries

3. The technical manual and product user manual of equipment using primary batteries should indicate the manufacturer and specifications, or the battery type, rated voltage, and rated capacity

4. When sealing the primary battery with a pressure relief valve, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve

5. When the battery pack is powered, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent, and they should be products produced by the same manufacturer.

6. The lithium primary batteries used in explosion-proof electrical equipment should not only meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.1-2010 and GB3836.2-2010, but also meet the relevant requirements of the Implementation Rules for the Review and Issuance of Safety Signs for Mining Products - Power Supply Products

2、 Aqueous electrolyte primary battery

1. The safety performance should meet the requirements of GB8897.2-2005 "Primary Batteries - Part 2: Dimensions and Technical Requirements" and GB8897.5-2006 "Primary Batteries - Part 5: Safety Requirements for Aqueous Electrolyte Primary Batteries"

2. Incorporated into Class C controlled component management

3. Equipment using primary batteries, their technical manuals, and product user manuals should indicate the manufacturer and specifications, or the type of battery, rated voltage, and rated capacity

4. When sealing the primary battery with a pressure relief valve, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve

5. When the battery pack is powered, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent, and they should be products produced by the same manufacturer.

6. Electrical equipment using aqueous electrolyte primary batteries should not only meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.1-2010, GB3836.2-2010, GB3836.4-2010 or GB3836.9-2006, but also:

A. Should be placed in a separate battery compartment

B. Equipped with a protective circuit to prevent charging and short circuits
